Tonight, we come together for the Armadale Business Excellence Awards 2026, but this event is about much more than presenting awards.

It is about celebrating a business community that is growing, connecting and beginning to show the wider region what Armadale has to offer.

This year, we have been incredibly encouraged by the response to the Awards and the diversity of businesses, organisations and individuals who have put themselves forward. The Armadale Business Excellence Awards have been designed to recognise that excellence comes in many different forms.

This year's nominations span:

Small Business Award – celebrating the small businesses demonstrating excellence, resilience, sustainable growth and contribution to our local economy.

Pride of Workmanship – recognising individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment, professionalism and pride in the work they do.

Business Leader of the Year – celebrating an individual whose leadership, vision and contribution have positively influenced their organisation, their people and the wider community.

Employer of Choice – recognising businesses that invest in their people and create positive workplace cultures where employees can develop and succeed.

Community Impact Award – celebrating organisations making a meaningful difference through community programs, partnerships, volunteering and social impact.

Sustainability & Environment Award – recognising businesses taking practical action to operate more sustainably and contribute to a better environmental future.

Access & Inclusion Award – celebrating organisations working to remove barriers and create more accessible and inclusive workplaces, services and experiences.

Innovation in Small Business – recognising businesses embracing new ideas, technology, processes and innovative approaches to create value and improve the way they operate.

Emerging Business of the Year – celebrating newer businesses demonstrating strong potential, entrepreneurial thinking and early success.

People's Choice Award – giving our community the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the businesses that consistently make a positive impression on the people they serve.

More Than an Awards Night

Perhaps one of the most important outcomes of these Awards has been seeing our business community come together.

Businesses that may never have crossed paths are meeting each other. Local business owners are learning about businesses operating just around the corner. New relationships are forming, referrals are being made, and we are beginning to better understand the incredible depth of talent, entrepreneurship and community spirit that already exists within our region.

That matters.

Strong local economies are not built by businesses operating in isolation. They are built when people know each other, support each other, collaborate and create opportunities for one another.

This is the community we want to continue building through the Armadale Chamber of Commerce.

Putting Armadale on the Map

For too long, the remarkable businesses operating throughout our region have not always received the recognition they deserve.

We want to change that.

Armadale is home to entrepreneurs, family businesses, innovative companies, hospitality operators, tradespeople, professional services, community organisations and emerging leaders doing exceptional work.

The more we celebrate these stories, the more we build confidence in our region.

The more our businesses connect, the stronger our local economy becomes.

And the more we showcase what is happening here, the more we can begin to put Armadale on the map as a place to start, grow and build a successful business.
