The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to establish standards of ethical behavior and professional conduct for all members of the Armadale Chamber of Commerce.
This Code applies to all members, including board members, staff, and volunteers.
Integrity: Members shall act with honesty and integrity in all dealings.
Respect: Members shall treat others with respect and dignity.
Accountability: Members shall be accountable for their actions and decisions.
Transparency: Members shall conduct business in an open and transparent manner.
Compliance with Laws: Members shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Conflict of Interest: Members shall avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any potential conflicts.
Confidentiality: Members shall respect the confidentiality of information acquired in the course of their duties.
Fair Competition: Members shall engage in fair competition and avoid anti-competitive practices.
Members shall promote diversity and inclusion and shall not engage in any form of discrimination or harassment1.
Members shall strive to minimize their environmental impact and promote sustainable practices.
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including termination of membership.
This Code of Conduct shall be reviewed annually and amended as necessary to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
