BECOMING A NEW BOARD MEMBER

Join the Armadale Chamber Board & Help Shape the Future of Local Business

Be Part of Something Bigger

At the Armadale Chamber of Commerce, we believe that local businesses are the heartbeat of our community. Behind every thriving main street, successful entrepreneur, and connected business network, there are passionate people who give their time and expertise to make it happen.

If you’re someone who believes in collaboration, community, and making a difference, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our Board of Management or volunteer on one of our sub-committees to help drive our mission forward.

Why Join the Board?

Becoming a board or committee member is a meaningful way to contribute to the growth and success of Armadale’s business community. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Influence real change by helping shape our strategy and advocacy priorities.

  • Support local businesses through programs, events, and policy initiatives that foster growth.

  • Collaborate with passionate leaders and expand your own professional network.

  • Develop leadership experience and make a tangible impact on your community.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome expressions of interest from individuals with a passion for business and community. You don’t need to be a boardroom expert — just bring your enthusiasm, ideas, and willingness to contribute your time.

We’re particularly interested in people with skills or experience in:

  • Business development, finance, or governance

  • Marketing, communications, or event management

  • Sponsorship and partnerships

  • Education, training, or advocacy

  • Community engagement and networking

Time Commitment

Board members typically contribute around 5-10 hours per month, including attending monthly board meetings and participating in committee activities or events. We value flexibility — you give what you can, when you can.

Ready to Get Involved?

If you’d like to be considered for future opportunities on the Board or one of our Sub-Committees, we invite you to complete our short Expression of Interest Form.
