The Armadale Chamber of Commerce is inviting local business owners, investors and professionals to participate in a short survey that will help shape future advocacy on recent Federal Government tax reforms.

Recent legislative changes relating to Capital Gains Tax (CGT), trust taxation and negative gearing have generated significant discussion across Australia’s business community. Whether these changes have already affected your business or are influencing your future planning, your experience matters.

As a founding member of the Bullwinkel Business Alliance, the Armadale Chamber is working alongside Chambers of Commerce and business networks across the electorate to ensure regional businesses have a strong and unified voice in Canberra.

Rather than relying on assumptions or commentary, we want to present decision-makers with real data collected directly from business owners operating in our communities.

Why We’re Conducting This Survey

Good advocacy begins with evidence.

This survey has been developed to better understand how recent Federal tax reforms are impacting businesses across our region. The findings will help identify common challenges, emerging trends and areas where businesses require greater certainty or support.

The results will be compiled with responses from participating Chambers throughout the Bullwinkel electorate to create a comprehensive picture of the issues facing regional businesses.

This information will be used to:

·       Inform advocacy with Federal Members of Parliament and Senators.

·       Support discussions with relevant government departments and policymakers.

·       Identify the key issues affecting businesses across the region.

·       Ensure the voice of local business is represented through evidence-based advocacy.

Your Privacy Matters

All survey responses are completely anonymous.

Individual businesses will not be identified, and no personal information will be shared. Only aggregated results will be analysed and presented as part of the Alliance’s advocacy work.

What the Survey Covers

The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and asks about:

·       The impact of recent Capital Gains Tax changes.

·       Trust taxation reforms.

·       Changes relating to negative gearing.

·       How these reforms may influence future investment, business growth and planning.
